Our monthly Guys/Girls night was a lot of fun as always. The guys, played Free Ball (An every man for himself chaotic type of dodgeball) while the girls celebrated Megan Laughlin's birthday with cake. The focus of the girls night was on sin and Satan. Some very deep questions and thoughts were thrown around as they spent time in their small groups. The guys broke into tribes (aka small groups) and focused on 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. The words "vulnerable, transparent and broken" aren't normal adjectives for young men, but we are told in the passage that Christ's power is mightily at work when we are weak. We're trying to move our tribe groups to a place of vulnerability with each other so that we can trust and support one another. Our next Guy/Girl night is set for April 26th.
