And for the couples out there, I would highly recommend attending the Fireproof movie night this Friday at the church. It is a great movie that reminds, challenges and encourages us to love our spouse as Christ wants. Make it a date night!
Deeper Bible Study
Wednesday Afternoons, 3:45-5:15 (This week: Genesis 25:19-27, Romans 9)
Our Wednesday group is drawing a larger crowd than ever before! This is a great way to get your teen involved in studying the Scriptures as we make our way through Genesis. Bring a Bible, pen and notebook.
LOVE TO PRAY SMALL GROUPAlong with the rest of the congregation, a small group led by teens, for teens on the topic of prayer starts meeting this Friday. The group will gather at Elena Hart's home. For more information, contact Justin.
Disciple
Starts this Thursday! Our first topic: Creation
Watch the clip to see what Disciple is all about. We're searching through God's story together, seeking God and our response to Him. A very engaging and interactive time of teaching is followed by small group discussions.

This Sunday: Dodgeball Tournament (NO SNL meeting)
We're heading back to Messiah College for our third Dodgeball Tournament, this time to defend our championship title. Players on the team should meet in the Youth Room at 11:30am with signed permission form, $10, Dodgeball T-shirt and food/$ for food. A time of worship will follow the tournament from 6:15-7pm before we head home.
Feb 20th, DUDE NIGHT:7pm - Midnight at the church
We're playing some intense games, chowing down on some pizza, and learning what it means to be a man after God's heart. Cost of $5 covers pizza and nerf weapons
Feb 21st, PJ PARTY:6pm - 11pm in Youth Room
We're playing board games, watching the movie FIREPROOF and having some great conversation. Bring your favorite snacks, board games, PJs and blanket! $2 covers pizza.
Girls Night Update!
Our teen girls met during SNL last night and had a
great time together! We discussed truths about God from the book we are reading such
as,"Only God can fill the deepest longing of our hearts", "He knows and cares about
the details of our lives", and " God is more concerned with shaping us than solving
all our problems". We watched an amazing video clip, then by candlelight, reaffirmed
Jesus to be at the center of our lives. We ended the evening praying in our small
groups.
Flyers were handed out with details about the PJ party on Feb. 21st. The girls were
asked to read chapter 5-"Lies About Satan", and chapter 10-"Lies About Sin" for our
next meeting on March 15th.
